Mel  Alonzo has over 30 years of financial management experience, with 24 years in top management positions.She has served 10 years as the Chief Executive Officer of the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund) and is among the highly respected individuals in the housing industry. She used to be the Chairperson of the Small Business Guarantee and Finance Corporation (SBGFC) and ultimately was named the first Undersecretary of the Department of Trade and Industry for Small and Medium Enterprise Development. Currently, she is a member of the board of trustees of the Bases Conversion Development Authority (BCDA). He was SPARK President 2012-2017, succeeded Ms Imelda Nicolas.
