Amina is  the President of the Philippine Center for Islam and Democracy Council (PCID) and a Managing Trustee of the Magbassa Kita Foundation, Inc. (MKFI). She was a former Presidential Adviser on Youth Affairs and first Chairperson of the National Youth Commission during the Ramos administration.
