Kelly is a writer, nomad, and women’s rights activist. As the daughter of a diplomat, she spent her childhood and formative years living in Switzerland and New York City. She returned to the Philippines for college and graduated cum laude from the University of the Philippines Manila with a bachelor’s degree in Development Studies.

 

Throughout college, Kelly was active in various organizations as well as student council activities. She was the VP for Advocacy of The Hope Project, a volunteer organization that provides psychosocial support to pediatric patients with chronic illnesses. Kelly was also a member of the One Billion Rising 2019 task force and participated in the preparation of the campaign launch for that year. Aside from these, she was part of student council election campaign teams and core committees of major campus events.
