The Programs

Through the Girl’s and Women’s Empowerment program, Maranao girls and women become aware of their rights and roles in their communities. This empowers them to take part in decision-making processes and to participate as full and equal partners in rebuilding the city.

With the support of Marawi’s local officials and community leaders, the Gender and Development program develops ownership and skills in tackling gender issues within Maranao communities.

The Women’s Economic Program educates Maranao women to further their knowledge of business operations and practices that will better prepare them for their financial endeavours as well as connect them with private sectors to help generate captured markets
